Dr. Paul (Mount-Learn) Wu is the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of AuthenX. He earned his Ph.D. in Optical Sciences from National Central University. With more than three decades of experience across industry and academia, he is among the few specialists in Taiwan whose work spans both photonic and electronic design.

He previously served as a professor and later as Chair of the Department of Optics and Photonics at National Central University. He also founded Centera Photonics. Dr. Wu has focused on optical communications and silicon photonics, holds more than 30 patents, and has translated technical advances into commercial applications.

Under Dr. Wu’s leadership, AuthenX develops high-speed optical interconnect technologies and products for data centers and high-performance computing.

Dr. David (Jenq-Yang) Chang is the Founder and Chief Technology Officer of AuthenX. He earned his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

With more than 40 years in photonics research, Dr. Chang previously served as a professor in the Department of Optics and Photonics at National Central University and as Director of the Institute of Optical Sciences, the department’s predecessor. His work spans optical communications, solid-state lighting, biophotonics, micro- and nano-optics, and meta-optics. He holds more than 30 patents and has published over 100 academic papers.

At AuthenX, Dr. Chang applies his expertise in micro- and nano-optics and meta-optics to integrate proprietary meta-structure technology into silicon photonics platforms.
